I earned my undergraduate degree in Asian Studies from UC Berkeley, and my Master of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from Yo San University in Los Angeles. I am licensed in California and am also certified nationally as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine, (NCCAOM.)

Since graduating from my Masters program, I have studied Japanese Acupuncture and become certified in applied clinical nutrition and have learned to utilize muscle response testing techniques to communicate with the body's energetic field and nervous system. I am certified in several methods utilizing these systems to get accurate healing information.

After becoming a mother, I felt uncomfortable with the large number of shots required for the current vaccine schedule in California. At our son's 2 month appointment, our pediatrician gave us an ultimatum: give at least 2 of the 4 vaccines scheduled, or leave her practice. We gave in, he got two of the shots, and my usually calm baby proceeded to scream uncontrollably for hours afterwards. It scared me and I realized I needed to learn as much as I could about vaccination support. (We also found a new pediatrician.)

My educational background gave me a unique skillset (nutrition, homeopathic detoxification, muscle response testing, allergic desensitization, acupressure and acupuncture) to assist my son's body in an individualized way. I simply had to adapt some of the information that I already knew and used for adults to make it specific to vaccines and found child friendly products.

Each unique little body has a different interaction with every substance (vaccine or other) we put into it, so everyone's protocol should look different, and change based on the particular substance. For example the protocol for supporting the body through the MMR will likely look different than support for the Polio vaccine. My passion is to share these targeted techniques with anyone who wishes to have extra support on their or their children's vaccination journey, giving peace of mind that you are truly helping little bodies deal with introduced stress.
